Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at PeopleLink Staffing Solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement Preventative Maintenance: Develop and execute maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  2. Repair and Maintain Equipment: Utilize mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude to repair and maintain a variety of machinery, including hydraulic metal stamping presses.
  3. Troubleshoot and Analyze Issues: Identify and address underlying root causes of equipment defects to restore functionality and prevent future issues.
  4. Document and Track Work: Accurately document and track all work, labor, and parts usage through our CMMS system.
  5. Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with operators, technicians, management, and engineering to ensure adherence to PM schedules and effective troubleshooting.
  6. Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read, interpret, and follow basic, intermediate, and complex blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of equipment.
  7. Install and Move Equipment: Install new machinery or move reallocated machines to new production lines by disassembling and rebuilding as needed.
  8. Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to and assist in enforcing Lock Out Tag Out Procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  1. 5+ Years of Experience: Possess 5+ years of working knowledge with mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems or components.
  2. Maintenance Background: Have 5+ years of experience in a maintenance role, millwright, electrical, or instrumentation/controls trade in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Blueprint Reading Skills: Demonstrate working knowledge of reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  4. Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  5. Troubleshooting Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  6. CMMS Experience: Have previous experience utilizing a CMMS system to track maintenance tasks.
  7. Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work as an individual contributor and within a team, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
