Job Description

Job Title: Technology Instructor

Job Summary:

The Technology Instructor will be responsible for implementing the Club's technology program, instructing club members to develop and improve their skill sets, and providing a safe and conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Manage Technology Program: Develop and implement the technology curriculum, integrating BGCA software and technology programs into the overall computer lab program.
  • Computer Resource Management: Develop procedures to control and protect the computers, printers, and software owned by the Club, ensuring the computer labs are safe, clean, and conducive to learning.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or attending an accredited College or University.
  • Technical Skills: Broad-based product knowledge of personal computer application software, including Microsoft Office, Front Page, Internet Explorer, and educational game software.
  • Communication Skills: Effective presentation skills to present computer instruction in an easy-to-understand method to children.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to motivate, develop, and manage children in an informal educational setting.
