Your Profile:
We are in search of an accomplished Senior Proposal Manager with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, characterized by a strong commitment to innovation and excellence. Role Responsibilities:
The Senior Proposal Manager will oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of proposal development, from initial planning through to submission, for a variety of opportunities with differing complexities. This role involves close collaboration with capture managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to craft compliant and persuasive proposal content aimed at federal agencies across various sectors.
Key Duties Include:
- Providing pre-proposal support, including solution development and responses to Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Creating a master outline and compliance matrix for proposals.
- Leading kickoff meetings and tracking proposal progress.
- Collaborating with SMEs and writers to generate compelling content, including technical and management strategies, past performance narratives, and resumes.
- Facilitating color reviews and addressing reviewer feedback.
- Coordinating with pricing and contracts teams, ensuring proper formatting and production of proposals.
- Proactively identifying and resolving issues throughout the proposal process.
Essential Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience managing federal government proposals.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex proposals within the federal sector, including single awards and task orders ranging from $5M to over $100M.
- Strong communication skills to effectively guide writers and manage proposal content.
- Proficient in proposal writing and editing.
- Accountable for delivering compelling and compliant proposals.
- Thorough understanding of the Shipley Proposal Process and APMP best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MS SharePoint.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of proposals.
- Experience with oral presentations.
