Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Admissions Specialist to join our team at Dallas College. As an Admissions Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our admissions process, providing exceptional customer service to students, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process admissions applications, verify eligibility, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide guidance to students on required steps to complete the admissions process, including documentation and residency verification.
  • Review and analyze supporting documents to process actions and update the college's Student Information System.
  • Support enrollment verification processes for student loan companies, employment screening agencies, and military branches.
  • Collaborate with the entire College community to promote admissions and enrollment efforts.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or higher.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a higher education setting with demonstrated experience in admissions and/or registrar.
  • Ability to work extended hours beyond the regular 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. workday, especially during heavy registration peak times.
