Acentra Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Sanction Coordinator to become an integral part of our expanding team.
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse Sanction Coordinator will oversee and guide all processes related to the CMS Sanction protocol. This role requires expertise in ensuring compliance with EMTALA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective communication (both verbal and written) between BFCC QIO and participating healthcare providers.
- Draft Initial and Final Sanction Notices along with EMTALA correspondence.
- Maintain comprehensive case files with all necessary documentation.
- Oversee provider Corrective Action Plans (CAP); offer technical support for the development and refinement of CAP; review submitted CAP data.
- Generate monthly summaries for COR reports.
- Prepare written OIG referrals as needed.
- Evaluate all EMTALA referrals.
- Coordinate Sanction and 60-day EMTALA hearings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a short-term acute care hospital or skilled nursing facility is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN, Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), Licensed Health Risk Manager (LHRM), or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in claims or risk management is preferred.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Placement within this range will depend on various factors, including relevant experience and skill level.
