We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a homecare setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient nursing needs regularly
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services
- Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
- Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitor and document effectiveness of intervention
- Assure patient/client safety at all times
- Monitor the safety and effectiveness of the care/services environment and equipment used, including universal precautions
- Review plan of care and program protocols and identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable
- Adhere to Maxim policy, procedure and applicable protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned/necessary

- Proficiency in the English language required
- Must meet all federal, state, local and contract requirements
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray. (offered by us if needed)
