About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Breakthru Beverage Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the maintenance and repair of our building and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the safe and reliable operation of all equipment and systems, including conveyor and material handling equipment, forklifts, and other machinery.
  • Cost Control: Maintain costs within the department by effectively managing parts, cleaning supplies, and other expenses.
  • Equipment Specifications: Set specifications for new equipment and forklifts to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Vendor Management: Work with vendors to source new equipment and negotiate contracts.
  • Building Maintenance: Perform basic building maintenance tasks, including repairs to interior and exterior structures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in electric lift truck operation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with conveyor and material handling equipment, as well as basic building trades (painting, sheet rocking, welding, and HVAC).
  • Skills: Ability to read, speak, understand, and follow English instructions, as well as read blueprints and schematics on electric equipment.
  • Licenses: Class A Driver's License.
  • Aptitude: Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Frequent Activities: Carry or lift up to 20 pounds, push or pull up to 20 pounds, and stand or walk for periods at a time.
  • Occasional Activities: Carry or lift up to 100 pounds, squat or bend to perform various duties, and climb stairs.
