The Compliance and Privacy Associate will staff or otherwise support key projects outlined in our annual Corporate Compliance Work Plan and provide inter-departmental assistance for continuous readiness with standards established by accrediting organizations and State and Federal regulations. This role requires analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staffs the Corporate Compliance Committee and prepares quarterly reports outlining Compliance Work Plan performance.
  • Conducts inter-departmental audits based on areas of priority outlined in our Corp. Compliance Work Plan.
  • Conducts enterprise-wide privacy rounds and mock audits under the direction of the HIPAA Privacy Officer.
  • Participates in our Accreditation Committee and provides inter-departmental technical assistance to promote continuous readiness in meeting accrediting standards established by The Joint Commission (TJC).


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in healthcare compliance or privacy is required.
  • Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Healthcare Privacy (CHPC) and one year of experience with Privacy/HIPAA investigations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Bureau of Primary Health Care Compliance requirements and TJC ambulatory health care along with patient-centered medical home standards is highly desirable.
