Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team at CyberCoders. As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of electrical systems, managing a team of electricians, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager with planning, organization, and staffing for assigned projects
  • Analyze bid documents and existing site conditions to outline the scope of work, including general conditions and requirements
  • Identify risks in the scope of work to ensure related costs are covered
  • Establish objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards to complete the scope of work per contract documents
  • Manage a team of electricians, assign daily tasks, and provide necessary materials and equipment
  • Manage labor hours, material procurement, scheduling equipment, and daily production reporting
  • Lead safety meetings and ensure the use of required PPE by all crew members
  • Run conduit/wire and install/terminate devices
  • Troubleshoot and perform quality control testing
  • Conduct pre-bid surveys, kick-off meetings, progress walks, punch walks, and turnover
Requirements
  • 5+ years of field experience as a commercial electrician
  • 3+ years of field experience as a Foreman overseeing large electrical projects
  • Well-rounded knowledge of various electrical installations, including distribution systems, lighting and lighting control systems, HVAC equipment and motor connections, conduit and wire, and branch devices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner
  • Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency, and complete them in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to create, navigate, search, and update company systems, including emails, work orders, reports, and ProCore
  • Proficient with creating, editing, and analyzing Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
