Job Summary

The Residential Therapist will work with clients to alleviate or stabilize mental health symptoms, providing therapeutic services to individuals, families, or groups. This role involves developing assessment and treatment plans, maintaining highest ethical standards, and providing clinical direction to a residential home team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for clients
  • Provide clinical direction to residential home team
  • Integrate all services provided, serving as a central point of communication for mental health services
  • Plan and administer therapeutic treatment to youth
  • Monitor client progress and periodically reassess client's level of functioning
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of clinical and case management services
  • Represent OHU at court hearings and meetings

Requirements

  • MA/MS in Social Work, psychology, counseling, or related field
  • License eligible required; license preferred
  • 1 year of related experience preferred
