Role Overview

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere within the United States, requiring a high-speed internet connection and a safe and dedicated workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Manage databases and schema (e.g., SQL, Oracle, etc).
  • Administer ArcGIS Portal / AGOL.

  • Ensure network security (e.g., WAF, ports).
  • Manage user accounts (e.g., Active Directory, privileged identity management).
  • Configure and administer cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, VMware, AWS).
  • Install and administer software.
  • Manage licenses.
  • Create scripts to integrate, transform, convert, and validate enterprise data stores.
  • Create web services to interrogate and distribute enterprise data.
  • Design workflows and processes to integrate, transform, convert, and validate enterprise data stores.
  • Validate, troubleshoot, and resolve errors in applications, data transformations, and processes.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, IT, Environmental Science, or a related field.

10+ years of relevant post-graduate work experience, including 5 years in technology/visualization software.

A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Certified GIS Professional (GISP)

Special considerations include:

  • Esri ArcGIS products (ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcToolbox, and ArcGIS Pro)
  • Esri Roads & Highways applications and enterprise database management
  • Linear referencing concepts
  • Extensive familiarity with enterprise database environments, including versioning concepts
  • Progressive and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for complex reports and presentations
