Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement strategic initiatives to meet sales objectives of up to $10 million and broaden market reach for nutraceutical offerings.
  • Discover and secure new business ventures and collaborations to propel revenue growth and market infiltration in B2B sectors within a quarterly timeframe.
  • Independently finalize agreements valued at up to $1 million.
  • Establish and sustain robust relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders to amplify business prospects and brand recognition.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to pinpoint trends, competitor actions, and consumer preferences, leveraging these insights to craft effective sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to facilitate product launches and marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with sales goals for the US market.

  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade exhibitions, and conferences to network and elevate brand visibility.
  • Develop and oversee a sales pipeline utilizing CRM tools to monitor opportunities, manage leads, and forecast sales outcomes.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales agreements with key clients and partners, ensuring profitable arrangements and enduring relationships.
  • Devise pricing strategies and promotional offers to optimize profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Leverage digital sales channels and e-commerce platforms to extend reach and refine sales processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field such as B.Pharm, BS - Biotechnology, or BS - Food Science. An MBA is preferred.
  • 12+ years of demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the nutraceutical, supplements, food ingredients, or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Relevant certifications in sales or nutraceuticals are beneficial.
  • Strong comprehension of nutraceutical products, US market dynamics, and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with international teams.
