About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Global Commodity Manager to lead our Compute category. As a key member of our Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement (ISCaP) organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing CPU sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute CPU sourcing strategies to meet the rapidly growing infrastructure needs of our customers.
  • Understand industry and technology trends to identify key technology trends and drive supplier product roadmaps.
  • Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop negotiations strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
  • Provide weekly core-team updates and deliver executive-level updates on a frequent basis.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
