About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Global Commodity Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement (ISCaP) organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing CPU sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps. Your expertise in negotiating and executing complex supplier agreements and contracts will be essential in delivering against business objectives and achieving sustainable relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CPU sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure
  • Understand industry and technology trends to drive supplier product roadmaps
  • Negotiate and execute complex supplier agreements and contracts
  • Develop negotiations strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers
  • Provide weekly core-team updates and deliver executive-level updates on a frequent basis

What We Offer

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $133,200/year to $220,200/year, depending on location. In addition, you will have access to a range of benefits, including medical, financial, and other perks.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
