Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer at Interstates, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing efficient electrical systems for our clients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical control panels, including PLC and remote I/O panels, and low-voltage motor control panels.
- Ensure compliance with NEC and UL508A standards, and apply this knowledge to electrical design.
- Collaborate with project leaders to implement conceptual designs, detailed designs, and associated documentation.
- Support automation delivery by providing panel build and construction support, including onsite visits.
- Coordinate network design and configuration, including Ethernet, fiber optic, and wireless networks.
- Participate in cross-training, standards creation, continuous improvement, and kaizen initiatives to drive growth and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 1-3 years of experience in electrical design and automation, or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, depending on business requirements.
At Interstates, we offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $75,000+ benefits, depending on experience and education. Our salary ranges are determined by job-related skills, training, education, and experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and performance bonuses.
