About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at Lucent Health Solutions, Inc. in Rancho Cordova, CA. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and members, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Handle incoming and outbound calls from clients and members, providing accurate and timely information regarding their health insurance plans.
  • Claims Support: Assist clients and members with claims-related inquiries, including status updates and benefit eligibility.
  • Provider Support: Provide e-Payables support to providers, cross-selling benefits and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Communication: Utilize excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, members, and providers.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze complex customer calls, researching and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and meet departmental goals.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: One to two years of experience in a call center environment, preferably in the health insurance industry.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Language: Bilingual individuals preferred, with a strong emphasis on Spanish-speaking candidates.
