Position Overview

Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Logistics Analyst to enhance our vibrant Supply Chain Transportation division. In this role, you will be tasked with documenting, investigating, and evaluating our global Logistics Operating Systems. Your primary focus will be on pinpointing weaknesses in our processes and systems to develop effective solutions for enhancement. Collaboration with departmental leaders and cross-functional teams will be essential to successfully implement improvements within the Logistics Operating Systems.

  • Conduct thorough analysis and data research on Logistics systems to uncover potential opportunities.
  • Identify critical failure points and ensure resolutions are implemented to maintain business continuity.
  • Create and update training materials and Standard Operating Procedures for all Logistics systems.
  • Assist in configuring and revising settings within Transportation Management Systems and related software.
  • Oversee the testing and upkeep of transportation-related software applications, including coordinating meetings for new and existing functionalities.
  • Collaborate across the Transportation sector to eliminate process redundancies and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Design and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into Logistics software performance.
  • Effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, both verbally and in written reports.
  • Engage with system, carrier, and customer representatives regarding transportation issues related to Direct-to-Consumer and Retail shipments, proposing solutions based on system capabilities.
  • Facilitate discussions with key partners from various business areas and external clients to explore process improvements and determine optimal solutions, including developing timelines and implementation plans.
  • Work closely with the Transportation financial team to assess freight improvement opportunities and manage system budgets.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation, supply chain management, logistics planning, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Logistics, Operations Management, Business Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with automated Distribution Center Systems and Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management (WMoS) is preferred.
Benefits

The annual base salary range is $65,000 per year. This range reflects the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
