Job Summary:

The RN Tele Cardiac will work onsite at Springfield, MA, and will be responsible for treating patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, superior written and verbal communication skills, and good critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Treat patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions
  • Assist with diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms
  • Educate patients on ways to prevent heart disease
  • Update electronic medical records
  • Administer medications and start and check intravenous drips
  • Modify patient treatments based on patient responses
  • Work under the supervision of a cardiologist
  • Operate defibrillators in emergency situations
  • Diagnose heart conditions in patients
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • Clinical cardiac nursing experience
  • Current and valid state Registered Nurse license
  • Certification in cardiology from the American Nurses Credentialing Center
  • CPR and ACLS certification
