Job Description:

As a Mobile Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, you will be responsible for observing cardiac rhythms of patients on monitor, running and posting rhythm strips at designated intervals, and interpreting rhythms and validating computer readouts. You will also check and verify lead placement on patients, compare posted strips to previous strips, and notify nursing staff of changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe cardiac rhythm of patients on monitor
  • Run and post rhythm strips at designated intervals
  • Interpret rhythms and validate computer readout
  • Check and verify lead placement on patients
  • Compare posted strip to previous strip and notify nursing staff of changes
  • Notify nursing staff of any change in cardiac rhythm
  • Test equipment for proper working order
  • Maintain work area clean and orderly
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of patient safety and precautions, and the ability to relate positively to residents and families. A proven 2 years of experience as an EKG Technologist is also required, along with independent decision-making skills and the ability to maintain regular attendance.
