Job Summary

As a Cardiac Care Specialist at Memorial Health University Medical Center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions. This includes medical and surgical cardiac patients, post-cardiac-cath patients, TAVR patients, ablation and vascular surgical patients, and post-open heart patients. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities

- Provide age-appropriate care to patients with cardiac conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in research and incorporate research findings into evidence-based clinical practice
- Contribute to quality improvement processes

Requirements

- Licensed as RN in State of Illinois
- Current BLS/CPR certification per policy
- Ability to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required
