Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Duties:
- Provide direct patient care to a diverse panel of patients, ranging from newborns to adolescents.
- Diagnose and manage various pediatric conditions, conducting both routine and urgent appointments.
- Administer vaccinations and counsel families on immunization schedules.
- Order necessary laboratory tests and imaging as appropriate.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage during evenings and weekends as needed.
- Educational Contributions:
- Support the education of resident physicians and medical students through curriculum development and implementation.
- Research Engagement:
- Contribute to ongoing research initiatives within the Primary Care Practice.
- Collaborate with research networks to identify and support relevant studies.
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing practice operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee patient access and flow, implementing quality improvement measures.
- Participate in budgeting and performance monitoring activities.
- Medical License in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey.
- Board Certification in Pediatrics.
- Doctorate in Medicine from an accredited medical school and completion of a Pediatric Residency Program.
- Experience in management or supervisory roles within an ambulatory care setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports.
