We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Pediatric Specialty Care in Point Pleasant, PA. As a pediatric nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Job Summary

The LPN will assist in ensuring the general health and well-being of assigned individuals by providing direct nursing care. This includes administering medications and treatments, performing accurate and timely documentation, and evaluating the needs of individuals for care planning information.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to assigned individuals as ordered by the physician
  • Perform and promote timely and accurate documentation
  • Assist in performing accurate, thorough, and timely completion of nursing admission evaluations and re-evaluations of individual care needs
  • Provide evaluation of needs of individual care planning information as necessary and as requested by nurses and other healthcare disciplines
  • Participate in Change-of-Shift Report and be responsible for bringing nursing personnel of next shift up to date regarding the care and needs of individuals
Requirements
  • Credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse with a current state license in good standing for the state in which work is performed
  • Valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Training and work experience in a pediatric setting preferred
