We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team at AdvoCare, LLC. As a key member of our Pediatrics group, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including vital signs, patient interviews, and electronic documentation.
- Assist providers and other clinical staff with patient care and administrative duties.
- Maintain medical supplies inventory and perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment.
- Prepare patients for examination and perform physical tests, take vitals, and report patient history summaries.
- Counsel patients and families, transmitting physician's orders and answering questions about treatment.
- Deliver compassionate support and assistance to patients and families.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registration required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of prior experience in a medical setting preferred.
