About the Role

Parkland Health and Hospital System (PHHS) seeks a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of nursing staff, including supervision, development, planning, quality, and coordinating occupational health services to ensure high-quality care and optimal outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily Management of Nursing Staff: Supervise and develop nursing activities to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Staff Development and Evaluation: Evaluate staff competencies and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Clinical Expertise: Provide expert care to assigned patient population in accordance with established protocols/procedures.
  • Operational Oversight: Supervise time, attendance, and patient care activities of assigned nursing staff.
  • Occupational Health Services: Ensure appropriate occupational health services are available for all PHHS employees.
  • Data Management: Manage the preparation, distribution, and maintenance of health data, records, and reports.

Requirements:

  • A nationally accredited Physician Assistant Program or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Program.
  • A master's degree in an appropriately related field (Physician Assistant Studies, Nursing).
  • Three years of APP experience preferred.
  • Two years of managerial experience preferred.
  • Two years of occupational health experience preferred.

Compensation Package: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
