We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team at Jobot As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing our safety program and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Safety Professional to lead our safety initiatives and contribute to our success. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive safety program that meets or exceeds industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive safety program that meets or exceeds industry standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Site Inspections: Perform regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on safety-related matters.
  • Investigate Incidents: Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, generating reports to develop root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to project site staff on safety procedures, best practices, and regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (preferably with a concentration in Construction Safety) or equivalent designation.
  • Experience: ~10+ years in construction safety and health (preferably in heavy civil), with a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing safety programs.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Proven knowledge of construction equipment, methods, and processes, with the ability to incorporate best safe practices into daily activities.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead and motivate project teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and provide training and support to project site staff.

Estimated Salary:

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, along with competitive benefits including dental insurance, employee assistance program, and health insurance.
