- Collaborate with the Commons Director for effective scheduling, event coordination, and risk management at the facility.
- Maintain a strong presence at the facility to become familiar with the building and stay informed about ongoing activities and events.
- Ensure a secure working environment by establishing and enforcing compliance with policies and procedures.
- Develop professional relationships with service providers and facility users to enhance collaboration.
- Manage budgetary responsibilities and engage in financial oversight.
- Compile annual reports detailing budget performance and objectives.
- Proactively anticipate deadlines for activities, programs, and events to guarantee timely execution.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: One year with a Bachelor's degree, or five years without.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, administration, facilities management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of four years of experience in corporate or higher education settings.
- Desired Skills: Excellent communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and project management expertise.
Physical Demands: This role requires frequent movement and occasional light lifting.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000.
