- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive sales policies and procedures across the organization.
- Manage departmental budgets and goals, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and reporting progress to the Business Unit General Manager.
- Directly manage regional sales managers and customer service representatives, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Conduct regular field visits (minimum 25% of workdays) to engage with customers, assess sales representative performance, and evaluate the effectiveness of sales processes.
- Develop and execute product line strategies, supported by robust systems and processes, to maximize market penetration and profitability.
- Analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Monitor sales performance against forecasts, proactively adjusting product line strategies based on key market segments to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and submit an annual advertising plan and budget for approval, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and brand positioning.
