Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ASIC Power Engineer to join our wireless SOC organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing highly energy-efficient and low-power wireless communication SoCs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead power modeling, analysis, and correlation tasks for wireless communication SoCs
  • Define chip power specifications and work with XF teams to ensure products meet power targets
  • Develop and generate power vectors with DV support
  • Analyze and identify power reduction opportunities
  • Build power models for key use cases
  • Post-silicon power correlation
Requirements
  • Power architecture experience, including supply scheme design
  • Early-stage power estimation expertise
  • Power team lead and XF team communication experience
  • Pre-silicon power modeling, analysis, and power reduction experience
  • Proficiency in PTPX, Power Artist, or other power analysis tools
  • Post-silicon power correlation experience
  • Good understanding of Low Power ASIC logic design and UPF
  • Good understanding of ASIC physical design and timing closure
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Perl, or Python)
  • System architecture knowledge is a bonus
  • Basic knowledge of wireless protocols (e.g., WiFi, BT)
  • Basic knowledge of common SOC components (e.g., CPU, fabric, peripherals, and PCIe)
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS + 10 years of relevant industry experience
