Job Title: Broadcast Production Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Production Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supporting live academics and athletics events by serving as a production engineer, producer, and camera technician.

Responsibilities:
  • Support live academics and athletics events by serving as a production engineer, producer, and camera technician.
  • Maintain all equipment during broadcasts, load and set up equipment for events, and work on productions as assigned.
  • Assist the director in productions and edit video and audio as assigned.
  • Manage project assignments and coach student workers.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field to broadcasting or media.
  • Three years of related experience.
  • Advanced video and audio engineering skills, including photography and audio.
  • Advanced level video engineering skills and understanding of troubleshooting video for live events.
  • Video and editing skills with demo reflecting this ability.
  • Good personal skills and leadership skills and experience.
  • Sports experience, including switching, setup, and streaming with an advanced understanding of backend management for sites.
  • Understanding of Adobe products.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work independently and under pressure of deadlines. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot complex technology problems and maintain confidentiality. The position also requires the ability to work after normal business hours and weekends as required.
