Business Unit Director

PICA Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a seasoned Business Unit Manager to drive growth and foster lasting customer relationships in the medical wearables and IoT devices markets. As a key member of our team, you will take the lead in selling our innovative products, including Flex Printed Circuit Boards, Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), Electronic Assemblies, and Rigid-Flex Printed Circuits.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Define sales and marketing objectives for your region or portfolio, aligning efforts with market trends and customer needs in medical devices and wearable technology industries.
- Customer Engagement: Identify new prospects in these innovative markets, build lasting relationships, and convert them into leads through strategic sales activities.
- Team Management: Recruit and manage account-specific sales representatives, ensuring they can deliver exceptional results and drive growth in key sectors.
- Project Management: Oversee project development from initiation to production ramp-up, collaborating with Account Managers and manufacturing partners to service existing accounts and ensure the successful delivery of products like Flex PCBs and Rigid-Flex circuits.
- Sales Excellence: Drive the pricing process, close deals, and consistently contribute to profitable growth in sales revenues, particularly in the medical and wearable device markets.
- Customer Satisfaction: Resolve customer complaints efficiently, leveraging all available company resources to ensure satisfaction and strengthen relationships.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor competition, recommend changes in products, services, and policies, and maintain professional and technical knowledge to stay ahead in the evolving electronics manufacturing landscape.
- Lead Vetting: Identify and evaluate potential prospects to determine if they align with PICA's offerings. This includes leads from marketing campaigns, trade shows, or your prospecting efforts.
- Personable and Presentable: You're a natural at building relationships and representing the company, particularly in high-tech markets.
- Self-motivated: You're driven to achieve goals and excel in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on innovation-driven industries.
- Organized and Strategic: You have strong planning and organization skills, with a knack for opening new territories, prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Technically Savvy: You possess a deep technical knowledge of PICA's products, including Flex PCBs, Rigid-Flex Circuits, electronic assemblies, and their applications in medical and wearable devices.
