At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we seek a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Cardiac Department. As a Diagnostic Sonography Technician, you will be responsible for utilizing high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to aid in medical diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis.
  • Acquire and maintain specialized technical skills and medical knowledge to render quality patient care.
  • Institute life-saving measures as needed.
  • Inject contrast media where applicable.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited educational program for Diagnostic Sonography or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Registry preferred, or Registry eligible within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated safe and knowledgeable practice skills.
  • Ability to prepare and administer IV contrast.
  • Able to recognize abnormal structure and correlate information into a useful study.
  • Ability to utilize ancillary devices and Microsoft Windows desktop applications.

Pay range: $33.32 - $49.27.
