About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at EMCOR Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exercise executive authority over the planning, direction, and control of designated projects.
  • Allocate and supervise the utilization of material and personnel resources assigned to the project.
  • Review plans and specifications for project implementation.
  • Apply intensified management techniques, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with contract and budget.
  • Review project manpower requirements with Operations Department on a regular basis.
  • Make technical, personnel, and business management decisions required by the project as authorized by your charter.
  • Work with general contractors and end-users to execute projects on time and under budget, with a high level of quality.
  • Prepare job estimates, change-orders, and required documentation.
  • Conduct close liaison and coordination with vendors, the General Contractor, and other sub-contractors.
  • Report status of your project to company leadership on a recurring basis.
  • Maintain a safe work environment on all projects.
  • Initiate monthly billing for jobs in process and develop a schedule of values for jobs in conjunction with estimates.
  • Conduct bi-monthly safety meetings on jobs.
  • Promote and participate in education and training opportunities that allow the company and its employees to meet stated goals, objectives, and business plans.
  • Participate in quality associations with trade/business associations that enhance the company's mission or business plan.
  • Maintain a Customer Sales log.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in estimating and bid preparation.
  • Graduate of two-year technical curriculum preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as mechanical project manager preferred.
