Position Overview:
This full-time role at JSfirm involves working in-person as a Flight Operations Scheduler. The position integrates responsibilities from the Dispatcher role while also supporting the Student Success Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the Flight Operation Schedule.
2. Collaborate with the Student Success Manager to develop strategies for Accelerated Students to ensure they remain on course.
3. Promptly communicate any scheduling changes to Instructors and Students through appropriate channels.
4. Address and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise, adhering to established Core Processes.
5. Maintain knowledge of the fleet and coordinate both planned and unplanned maintenance.
6. Optimize the daily, weekly, and monthly flight schedules.
7. Manage Customer Accounts and assist clients with their Flight Training objectives, relaying any customer concerns to the Flight Operations Manager.
8. Handle incoming phone calls and emails.
9. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Flight Operations Manager.
10. Ensure that students possess all federally required documentation for flight training.
11. Dispatch and monitor all aircraft, with the possibility of filling in as needed.
12. Maintain inspection time remaining reports for the Aircraft Maintenance Department.
13. Generate and distribute Flight Dispatch and Maintenance Reports.
14. Uphold and enforce the Safety Management System procedures and guidelines of the organization.

Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in utilizing scheduling software or tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience, or an Associate degree with 0-2 years of experience.
- Customer service experience, particularly with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying experience levels.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to contribute effectively as a team member while also working independently, demonstrating attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
- Must be able to obtain an Airport Identification Badge.
