Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant


Job Summary: Novant Health Cotswold Medical clinic seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist the provider in delivering safe, quality, and cost-effective service and care to the practice population.


About the Role:



  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED, as well as certification or the ability to obtain within six months of hire as a CMA, RMA, or CCMA.
  • Prior experience in a medical office is preferred.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to delivering remarkable patient experiences in every dimension, every time.

Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate and assist the provider in delivering safe, quality, and cost-effective service and care to the practice population.
  • Develop and maintain a safe patient environment driven by the principles of "First Do No Harm".
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications:



  • Education: High school diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience: Previous work in a medical office, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA, or CCMA, required.
