Key Responsibilities

  • Audit and balance all financial transactions, including cash and credit operations, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including daily reports, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to guest accounts.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to their accounts in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate the PBX system to provide excellent customer service and ensure timely and efficient communication with guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the financial operations of the hotel.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • Accounting background preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
