POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated, Full-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator for our community at Woodland Place. This position is pivotal in designing and implementing engaging activities tailored for our residents in both Long-Term Care and Assisted Living settings. The activity program should be thoughtfully crafted to address the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of our residents, encompassing their spiritual, social, physical, and cognitive well-being.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and distribute monthly activity calendars to residents.
  • Create and maintain a visible Activity Board for residents, team members, and family members.
  • Design and implement an Activities Program that aligns with federal and state regulations.
  • Engage in resident care planning and participate in relevant meetings.
  • Attend daily team meetings to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Complete the activity section of the MDS in a timely manner.
  • Document resident participation in activities using the designated system.
  • Organize and execute quarterly family engagement events.
  • Deliver and, if necessary, read mail to residents.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of social programs for the Skilled Nursing Facility, including events for residents and team members.
  • Collaborate closely with community personnel, family members, and residents to understand their interests, needs, and limitations, facilitating personalized activities as required.
Customer Service Commitment:
  • Ensure that all staff members provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform duties for residents and team members with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Proactively prioritize resident safety and satisfaction.
  • Welcome visitors in a friendly and helpful manner, including families, prospective residents, referral sources, vendors, and regulators.
Residents' Rights:
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations pertaining to residents' rights.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to established sanitation practices and procedures.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
