The Route Sales Representative plays a crucial role in meeting our customers' needs through up-selling and cross-selling, while providing exceptional customer service by proactively managing all route responsibilities. This position requires a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results-driven sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Solicit new customers and ensure a profitable product mix through up-selling and cross-selling.
- Actively participate in promotions and contests, training, and audits to drive sales growth.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer installation, management, and service delivery.
- Ensure customer loyalty and retention through outstanding customer service, building relationships, and resolving concerns in a timely manner.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, following all applicable laws and company policies, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform regular vehicle inspections.
- Handle and process customer payments, keep route paperwork current, and ensure timely and correct deliveries of complete textile loads.
- Monitor and report competitive activity, keep service agreements current, and renewed.
- Valid driver's license and CDL when applicable.
- Excellent driving record with no chargeable accidents, speeding, or safety violations.
- Minimum one year of safe and successful driving experience.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to comprehend and follow direction.
- Good time management skills and a team player attitude.
- Recognize colors, sizes, and types of product, and count, add, and subtract accurately.
