OverviewPavilion-6 is a 30-bed intermediate surgical and medical surgical unit dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. Our team provides comprehensive support for patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including oncology, urology, bariatrics, and thoracic and colorectal surgery.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Graduate Nurse to join our Pavilion-6 team. As a Graduate Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a preceptor and be responsible for providing care to patients in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting. Your primary focus will be on utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care and collaborating with our team to ensure seamless patient transitions.
Responsibilities- Follow established policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with internal customers, supervisors, and physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide excellent customer service and apply Cooper core values in all interactions.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers)
- Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing
- Previous inpatient experience as a Nurse Associate/Patient Care Technician preferred
