Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of excellence in teaching by communicating and interacting effectively with students enrolled in courses within the program area.
  • Prepare materials needed for course instruction and testing, including lesson plans, exams, and assessments.
  • Keep student records and adhere to course schedules, ensuring timely completion of coursework.
  • Use learning management systems to communicate with students, faculty, and staff, facilitating a seamless learning experience.
  • Participate in the collection of student learning outcomes, analyzing data to inform instruction and improve student success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of related industry experience, including AC/DC wiring, residential wiring, commercial and industrial wiring, PLC programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledgeable with national electrical code, including local and state implementations, electrical print reading, and motor controls and sensors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AAS degree in electricity or AAS degree and 10 plus years industry experience in the electrical field.
