Electrical Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Electrical Instructor to join our team at Florence-Darlington Technical College. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching electrical courses to students in our program area.

• Maintain a high level of excellence in teaching by communicating and interacting effectively with students.
• Prepare materials needed for course instruction and testing.
• Keep student records and adhere to course schedules.
• Use learning management systems to communicate with students, faculty, and staff.
• Participate in the collection of student learning outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
• Prefer AAS degree in electricity or AAS degree and 10 plus years industry experience in the electrical field.
• A minimum of five years of related industry experience; AC/DC Wiring (theoretical & practical), residential wiring, commercial and industrial wiring, PLC programming and troubleshooting; Knowledgeable with national electrical code, including local and state implementations, electrical print reading, and motor controls and sensors preferred.
