Director of Evening Services

The Director of Residential Programs is responsible for ensuring the quality of residential services and compliance with licensing and agency expectations. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the Senior Director level regarding programmatic needs, including staffing and fiscal resources.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree (preferred) and 3 years of leadership experience in the human services industry or a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 4 years of leadership experience in the human service industry or a High school diploma and 5 years of leadership experience in the human service industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews residential program performance against budget, licensing regulations, and agency policies/procedures.
- Communicates with funding agencies when a resident moves locations and/or when rate or support needs change.
- Communicates to Executive Director the resources needed to assure appropriate services for residents.
- Regularly reviews budget and expenses with Senior Director.
- Communicates programmatic, fiscal, and employee matters to the Senior Director on a timely basis.
- Proposes and/or participates in developing policy, procedural, or programmatic changes with peers, Senior Director and Executive Team to enhance the quality of services and employee engagement.
- Promotes positive reputation of Keystone programs by acting to resolve concerns/complaints of families/guardians, neighbors, case management or funding agencies, as necessary.
- Consults with Senior Director and/or Director of Human Resources on non-routine matters involving fiscal and employee concerns.
- Attends scheduled administrative meetings. Holds regular staff meetings.
- Cooperates with other departments to promote and support agency programs and business strategies.
- Represents the agency at local, state and national association meetings and functions.
- Implements Keystone's mission statement, "Our mission is to provide people with developmental disabilities diverse opportunities to lead fulfilling lives."
Work Environment:
The work environment is an office setting. The ideal candidate must be able to bend to retrieve an object at floor level 6-12 times hourly and must be able to crouch at the knees 6-12 times hourly.
Requirements:
- Must be able to hear a normal spoken voice with or without hearing assistance.
Management of Multiple Tasks and Interruptions:
The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks and interruptions effectively.
