Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join our team at Dayton Freight. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading our accounts receivable team and driving results in collections and cash application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of accounts receivable analysts to achieve collections and cash application goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce days sales outstanding and improve cash flow
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve customer issues and improve relationships
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable documentation and records
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and metrics to inform business decisions
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams and driving results in collections and cash application
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
