Position Overview
Your Role
The Public Sector Sales Operations Manager will oversee both Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for the Public Sector and specific programmatic initiatives within State & Local Government and Education. This role involves collaborating with the GTM leader to manage vendors specializing in market intelligence, fostering the adoption of third-party tools, and driving market expansion. Additionally, you will work alongside the Public Sector GTM Sales Leader to manage budgets, vendor contracts, and agreements to enhance cost efficiency and productivity. You will also be responsible for the Knowledge Management repository, developing onboarding processes tailored to the sector, supporting strategic sales initiatives, and managing business operations systematically. In the SLED domain, you will provide programmatic assistance for specific State and Local Government projects to fulfill contractual requirements and promote business growth through sales and channel partnerships.
Your Contributions
- Support the GTM leader in managing vendors for Public Sector market intelligence and encourage the use of specific third-party tools to boost market presence.
- Collaborate with the Public Sector GTM Sales Leader to oversee budgets, vendor agreements, purchase orders, and contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and productivity.
- Manage the Public Sector Knowledge Management repository, which includes creating a tailored onboarding process, maintaining contacts, and offering tools and training support.
- Assist the GTM and SVP in monitoring and following up on Strategic Plan actions to enhance sales efforts.
- Work with the GTM leader to ensure consistent communication and manage the rhythm of business operations systematically.
- Provide programmatic assistance for specific State and Local Government initiatives to meet contractual obligations.
Your Background
- 8+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or campaign management roles.
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced skills in Google Sheets (or similar applications like Microsoft Excel) to drive business results.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets (or similar applications), including advanced functions such as pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable engaging in both business and technical discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record in Project or Program Management, capable of independently driving processes for multifaceted initiatives involving numerous stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent military experience is required.
- A collaborative team player willing to go beyond strategy to support execution and realization.
- Fluency in creating executive-ready presentations, leading analysis, and generating data-driven insights is essential.
- A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, innovative, high-growth environments with minimal supervision.
- Experience in the public sector, enterprise technology, and knowledge of go-to-market strategies is advantageous but not mandatory.
