About the Role

Zurich is seeking a highly skilled RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster to join our team. As a key member of our Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of crop claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough field inspections to assess crop damage and gather information to determine potential losses
  • Collaborate with farmers and other stakeholders to discuss findings and provide expert advice
  • Utilize company software to transmit claims information electronically and ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Follow regulatory and company rules, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area
  • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date
  • Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Previous agricultural experience or fruit crop and/or small grains experience
  • Experience providing technical training to other crop professionals
