About the Role

Zurich is seeking a highly skilled RCIS Crop Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a leading crop insurance provider in the U.S., we offer a wide range of private product coverages and federal crop insurance plans through the United States Department of Agriculture's Risk Management Agency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field inspections and gather information to determine potential damages
  • Provide excellent service to our customers, including agents and policyholders (farmers)
  • Utilize company software to transmit claims information directly from the field to RCIS
  • Follow regulatory and company rules, policies, and procedures
Requirements

For Level I Crop Adjuster:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the agricultural or crop insurance industry
  • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) Certification must be obtained within 180 days of hire date
  • Personal transportation and travel within assigned territory
  • RCIS Crop Adjuster Physical Requirements

For Level II Crop Adjuster:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the crop insurance and claims adjusting area
  • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date
