Customer Service Representative/Claims Specialist

\t* Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders and adjusters, providing information and education on the temporary housing process
\t* Manage the needs of policyholders, ensuring that claim expenses are within policy limits
\t* Obtain adjuster approvals and accurately process extensions as needed
\t* Resolve customer service issues related to hotel or rental property stays
\t* Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt and proper resolution of questions, issues, and problems via email and telephone communication
\t* Manage high-volume email and inbound/outbound telephone calls for claim handling, documenting activities in the Company's computer system
\t* Perform other duties as assigned

\t* Typing speed 40 wpm or higher preferred
\t* Proven superior customer service skills (minimum 2 years Customer Service experience)
\t* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

\t* Intermediate computer experience (proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
\t* Functional ability and intermediate competency in math
\t* Strong ability to multitask, sense of urgency, and deadline-oriented
\t* Ability to consistently meet and exceed established standards for quality and productivity
\t* Must have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
\t* Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
