Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative/Claims Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing superior service to policyholders, insurance adjusters, and landlords, while ensuring that claim expenses are within policy limits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders and adjusters, providing information and education on the temporary housing process.
  • Claims Management: Manage the needs of policyholders, ensuring that claim expenses are within policy limits, and obtain adjuster approvals as needed.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve any customer service issues related to the stay in the hotel or rental property, ensuring prompt and proper resolution of questions, issues, and problems.
  • Communication: Manage high-volume email and inbound/outbound telephone calls for claim handling, while documenting activities related to the claim in our computer system.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent verbal and written skills, including proficiency with grammar and phone etiquette.
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate computer experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Math Skills: Functional ability and intermediate competency in math.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to multitask, with a sense of urgency and deadline-oriented.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ability to consistently meet and exceed established standards for quality and productivity, with accuracy and attention to detail.
