Job Summary:
This Nurse Practitioner position plays a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting excellence in oncology nursing practice. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $68,000 - $140,000.

About the Role:
This Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for managing and providing patient care in assigned areas. They will assess patients' needs for nursing care and collaborate with physicians and other services to plan care and evaluate outcomes. Additionally, they will improve practice by integrating results and theories of research studies and participate in data collection for current studies. A key aspect of this role is demonstrating clinical competency and compassion in providing care and documenting care according to established standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. At least one year of registered nursing experience is required, and two years of experience in wound, ostomy, and continence nursing is preferred. Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification are also required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, or PALS certification may be required based on patient care area.
