Key Responsibilities
  1. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair refrigeration units and auxiliary power units
  2. Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all components
  3. Interact effectively with Service Writers, leadership team, parts department, drivers, vendors, and customers
  4. Keep accurate records and submit paperwork upon completion
  5. Communicate professionally with customers
  6. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization
  7. Meet labor efficiency goals and certification requirements

  3. Adhere to safety and security protocols and use equipment and materials responsibly

Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required
  2. Diesel engine experience necessary
  3. Technical degree or certification a plus
Skills
  1. Effective written and verbal communication skills
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Abilities
  1. Work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
  2. Utilize computers for web-based training and work order system
  3. Work independently in a field service environment, demonstrating a professional and confident relationship with customers
  4. Exhibit a strong mechanical aptitude
  5. Possess a clean driving record
  6. Pass a DOT-approved physical examination
Working Conditions
  1. Exposure to varying weather-related temperatures (both inside and outside)
  2. Frequent work on scaffolding
  3. Moderate exposure to confined spaces, moving objects, and mechanical parts
  4. Moderate exposure to chemicals and fumes
  5. Moderate noise level
