About the Role

This position requires a skilled professional to maintain and operate key infrastructure systems in various locations. As a Data Center Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of electrical systems in environments with high availability, high risk, or high dependability.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with infrastructure systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including NFPA70e and OSHA laws
  • 5 years of experience in a critical environment, preferably in data center operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Electrical graduate of the apprentice program or trade school
  • Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and MAC
  • Knowledgeable in energy management systems and all building system operations, maintenance, and repair

The estimated salary for this role is between $48.70 and $73.10 per hour, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
